Wow, what a great book; it has everything...an insider trading scheme using email spam, several deaths/murders, a love story, and an inside look at the TV news business. What more could you ask for? I can't think of anything.

This page-turner is all about Charlie McNally, an 'aging' fortysomething investigative journalist who faces being replaced as the "face" of TV news by the younger twentysomethings, as is customary with women in the TV business. The consummate journalist, Charlie is under pressure to find the next great story for November sweeps, and so she pursues her short list of ideas until one lands right in her lap - a possible murder or suicide of a prominent businessman. With her colleague Franklin, she follows all leads and tangents to solve the mystery, meeting an intriguing teacher named Josh who creates some sparks, but can she trust him? As her investigation races to the end, more dead bodies turn up and she and Franklin both have their lives threatened. Whew! You've got to read this to find out how it all ends, but I say bravo!!
