Some Like It Haute

Fashion. Humor. Romance. Paris. You'll find all of that in "Some Like It Haute". London fashion reporter and former Texan Alexandra Simons is on assignment in Paris to cover the intense and paparazzi-filled seasonal fashion shows - for an entire week. She was expecting a glamorous and inspiring trip, but had several strange encounters with a fashion model on the runway, with her former high school French teacher, with her publicist friend, then her mother who flew into town for a couture fitting, to becoming involved in a search for a missing fashion designer, and last but not least, a romantic interest with an American filming a reality TV show involving fashion models. Things are certainly not dull for Alex's assignment in Paris. She gets her story, she gets a few minutes of uninvited fame, and well, does she get her man? Maybe or maybe not, but you will love reading every last page of this book to find out. And a bonus: in case you didn't know what really goes on behind the scenes in the high fashion industry, prepare to be educated!
