If you enjoy the TV show "Samantha Who?" you'll love this book. Author Caprice Crane has taken the idea of amnesia one step further however. Her character, Jordan Landau, succumbs to amnesia TWICE. The first time, Jordan fakes amnesia after a bike accident because her life has become boring on the social and job front, and impossible on the mother and sister front. Only her childhood best friend Todd is in on the secret. Jordan gets to dump her obnoxious lover Kirk, taking tremendous satisfaction in giving him what he deserves. She also delights in manipulating her evil boss Lydia.

Just when things are going perfectly, however, Jordan becomes injured and then has REAL amnesia. This serves to undo all the things in her life that she has set straight, because she now views all those evil people as charming and wonderful; she just can't remember what they're really like. As Jordan is at the altar ready to marry the evil Kirk, she starts remembering again...and then, well, you'll just have to buy this book to find out the rest.

Caprice Crane does a masterful job of interweaving the characters and plot in this delightful comedy. This is a must-read.
